This Weekend Is Juniper/jubilat Weekend

This weekend is the 10th annual Juniper Festival, and it is honoring the 10th year of jubilat magazine. The letter J and the number 10 are big this year.

There are great panels, readings, and book fair. GlitterPony is going to be there. Many exciting presses and journals are going to be there. Jon Link is going to be there at the GlitterPony table. This is also really good!

And the best part: all events are free & open to the public.

So, if you are in Western Massachusetts, this is the place to venture to and drive/pedal/walk toward.

Did I mention GlitterPony?

Every three months or so Jon Link and I reach a point of high worry, and then an issue of GlitterPony hatches again. About a week and a half ago we published our 10th issue. It's such a good issue -- it
has poems from these poets:

Mike Young
Laura F. Walton
Paige Taggart
Jordan Soyka
Lori Shine
Ted Powers
Nate Pritts
Peter Gizzi
Garth Graeper
JenMarie Davis
Julie Doxsee
And artwork from Rifle Paper Co. which we still can't believe we got to have.

Airedale Card

Cheers to issue ten, and hopefully many more to come.

And three cheers to Jon Link being back in the states for a few weeks!!

Thank You, Portland!

The Portland Mercury asked its readers what they would want to see on the cover of the mag. This is what they came up with:

Betty White in a Metal Bikini Wielding a Flaming Chainsaw While Riding a

John Ritter Centaur

There is hope for this world yet.

Stop By & Say Hi

Agnes Fox Press is going to AWP Denver!

We have a table loaded with chapbooks & broadsides. Also you will find two Seths, a Lyndsey, a Brian, a Lesley and a Lewis, and a Nathaniel. These are good people and some of the AFP editors. The others are me, Josh, and Emily, and we are oceans away, so we will not be attending.

But you will find Amy McDaniel's Selected Adult Lessons and Phil Cordelli's Book of Numbers / Book of Letters, and a broadside of a Hailey Higdon poem that is in her forthcoming AFP chapbook (letter pressed by Lesley!!). We also snagged Jeannie Hoag, whose chap will be released at the same time as Hailey's.

That's a lot of stuff to remember, so please stop by the Agnes Fox Press table and get it all in writing. And say hello to all the people at the table -- they are all so dear and wonderful!
